Three Nenasalas (wisdom outlets) were set up recently (20th March) for increasing the information and communication technology knowledge of youth and schoolchildren of low income families in the Colombo District.
The ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) said that these Nenasalas were set up in Slave Island, Ketawalamulla an Maligawatte in Colombo .
The launch of these Nenasalas took place under the patronage of Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Senior Minister for Urban Affairs A. H. M. Fowzie and MP Tilanga Sumatipala.
Participating in the inauguration Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that the current Government’s goal was to provide information and communication technology facilities to all whatever be the race, religion, party or social status as rich or poor one belonged to.Views: 341
